The Conference arrangements are nearing completion and registrations can now be accepted, including on-line via the CNNWC web site www.neighbourhoodwatchcouncil.co.uk . It is on Saturday 24th November 2012 at County Hall, West Bridgford with the kind support of the County Council. It will finish at 1.15pm, followed by a buffet lunch and an exhibition. The theme is "The role of the community in neighbourhood policing" and will include a problem-solving session and examples, by those involved, of how some neighbourhoods have solved serious local problems. Government Minister Kenneth Clarke MP and Nottinghamshire's Assistant Chief Constable Susannah Fish are the opening speakers. The newly-appointed Police and Crime Commissioner will be introduced.
